Technique Training

The sports enhancement program at all HIT Centers is designed to improve the basic constructs of athletic performance. But as a franchisee you will also have the opportunity to provide NFL Combine Training and technique training in any sport in which one of your employees is a qualified expert.

Overload and specificity principles are applied to improve running speed, leg power, vertical jump,
core strength, agility, balance, and strength. Since all sports require these performance parameters, the target market is expanded to all sports and all ages.

NFL Combine Training
Prior to the NFL combines, prospective players undergo extensive training to improve athletic performance. HIT Centers specialize in improving NFL testing times on the 20-yard pro-shuttle,
3-cone agility test, vertical jump, and 40-yard dash.

Immediate improvements occur when the player is taught the proper technique for these tests. Players and sports agents are amazed at the immediate improvements after the player simply learns “how” to properly run, cut, and change directions. HIT Centers, Inc experts will teach your HIT Center staff how to detect and correct technique flaws.

Sport Specific Training

HIT Centers, Inc allows HIT Centers to express their expertise in sports technique training. For example, at the Huntington HIT Center, baseball technique for pitching
and hitting is offered as a technique-training program (See “Typical Day at a HIT Center”). Of the current employees, one is a former baseball coach and another a
former college baseball player qualifying them to offer baseball technique training.

The director of the HIT Center in Jacksonville, Florida has expertise in soccer.
Therefore, teaching soccer technique may be a program offering at the Jacksonville site.

A competitive cyclist may own a HIT Center in Pocatello, Idaho. He may specialize
in VO2 max and Ventilatory Threshold testing while offering special interval training programs for area cyclists.

HIT Centers, Inc requires that HIT Center technique training programs be offered only
in the sport in which the provider is truly an expert.
