Tim Betz is the President of
HIT Centers Inc., an Ohio corporation organized
in February
2003. Mr. Betz is
also founder of Workers
Choice Health Services,
an eight year
old Ohio corporation that specializes in on-site physical
and occupational
therapy services. Workers Choice Health Services provides the
current infrastructure and business development platform for
HIT Centers Inc.
Mr. Betz has over 16 years of experience
in the implementation and administration of physical medicine
and rehabilitation
services with a total of 27 years of clinical experience in
musculoskeletal medicine. The combination of his clinical expertise
and healthcare business acumen, have provided Mr. Betz with
a comprehensive, unique, and visionary approach to business
development in the healthcare field.
After completing his master’s
degree, he formed the department of Occupational Health, Physical
Medicine, and Rehabilitation at Holzer
Clinic.
During his 10
year administration the department expanded to a four facility,
multi-million dollar operation in two states. Both he and
his staff were extensively involved with service delivery
to
employers on a primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention
basis. Beyond
his two degrees in nursing, he has completed advanced practice
as a Family Nurse Practitioner at The
Ohio State University.
Studies beyond his master’s degree in Exercise Physiology
include education in Health Services Administration at Ohio
University.
