Q: There are many fitness centers in our area.
Why would I want to compete with them by putting in another fitness
center?
A: The HIT Center is not a “fitness center”. HIT
Center programs are based on extensive pre-program assessment.
You will be teaching clients how to exercise, get extremely fit,
and lose weight. These personal training sessions are actually
learning sessions for the client. The clients will quickly recognize
that the procedures and protocols are much different than the
fitness
center across town.
Q: Why do you call your facilities “HIT” Centers?
A: HIT stands for High Intensity Training. The concept is physiological.
Weight loss, fitness, and athletic development programs have
advocated high volume, high repetition, low-intensity workouts
for years. From a scientific perspective, this makes no sense.
Dr. Shepherd has
created the HIT Centers approach to by creating high intensity
protocols to prevent over training, decrease
injury rate (via competitive micro trauma), and produced maximum
biological adaptation and improvement by doing short, very
intense and specialized protocols.
Q: I have heard of HIT training before.
Isn’t someone
else doing this?
A: NO. HIT Centers Inc. has exclusive rights to Dr.
Shepherd’s protocols and concepts.
Some groups have advocated a technique for weight lifting programs
called HIT Training. This is a
one-set-to-failure approach to weight lifting. This concept
has no association with the Speed-Up, Lighten-Up and
HITFit programs designed by Dr.
Shepherd.
Q: There are a lot of coaches and
self proclaimed personal trainers in the area that are training
groups of athletes. How will my HIT Center services be any
different and how
do I compete with these other trainers?
A: When the athlete walks into your HIT Center, the difference
becomes readily obvious. They immediately think “If I
don’t train here, I will be at a disadvantage on the
playing field”. The testing, training, equipment, atmosphere,
and personnel at your HIT Center
will sell the product. Get
them in the door and they will sign up!
Q: This program is
so scientific, I’m not sure that
I’m qualified to deliver the program effectively. How
would I get qualified to own and operate a HIT Center?
A: HIT Centers Inc. will train you. You will receive extensive
training from Dr.
Shepherd and his staff to fully operate a
HIT Center. All manuals and computerized programs are provided.
Q: I’m sold on this concept.
How do I get the process started to own and operate my HIT
Center?
A: Follow the step-by-step
procedure listed on our site.
